Hi! I’m Reese!
I’m a narrative designer and recent graduate of The New School with a love for all things gaming! You may have seen some of my work in Overwatch 2, where I’ve twice interned on the narrative design team.

What I’m playing right now:
Yakuza 3 (2009)
During my two internships on the Overwatch 2 narrative design team, I wrote hundreds of lines of dialogue, conversations, and contextual voice lines in the voices of 40+ characters, lead voice over sessions, wrote map/environment VO, named and implemented cosmetics, achievements, and hero abilities, lead map signage ideation, worked with my team to develop lore, collaborated on projects across several teams, scripted new features, and pitched story ideas.
I researched and collaborated with the art team to conceptualize signage for OW2's “Samoa” map, with the intentions of representing Samoan culture whilst expanding the world-building of the Overwatch universe.
Unknown Causes is a personal project/concept for an isometric, story-driven game based on the troubled teen industry (TTI) in the United States. The game follows three characters and their parallel stories as they survive in different versions of these exploitative institutions. As the horrors and truths of these abusive programs come to light, the world around each protagonist begins to bend into a surreal reflection of the horrors of their reality.
Since 1970, there have been over 350 recorded deaths within the TTI. These deaths span across many types of youth residential programs such as wilderness programs, boot camps, therapeutic boarding schools, and treatment centers. Most often the causes of death released to the public end up being vague, skirting around the abuse that occurs in these institutions.

BLAZING TRAILS is a comedy/drama and historical satire set in 1860s America.
The show follows an unlikely group of women as they set out on a journey across the Oregon Trail.
While they encounter death, disease, and harsh weather on their travels, these situations are approached with comedy. BLAZING TRAILS doesn't always concern itself with being "realistic" or "historically accurate," instead the show cares about the untold stories of the female frontier, and the complexities of identity and liberation.
A JANITOR’S GUIDE TO HOMICIDE is a 10 episode drama and dark comedy.
The series follows Junwei, a 20-something, as he finds his life in Taiwan uprooted following the death of his grandmother. When he learns that she has left her estate in the small desert town of Devil’s Canyon, Texas to him, he decides to stick around.
After landing a janitorial job at a derelict storage facility, Junwei makes a gruesome discovery when he finds a corpse in one of the storage units. His boss gives him two choices: stay and join in on the bloody operation with his fellow coworkers, or end up like the lifeless body at his feet.
